Temasek Engineering School, Singapore

About a month ago, i noticed this strange looking sculpture was erected at the West gate entrance of Temasek Poly.

what a weird piece, maybe even a bit obscene.  I don’t know… depends on your interpretation of it.

Take a look…what do u think it represents?….

heh…yup!! i think starting today is the start of the sem of somehting…err i donoe wats that something myself…but there’re more caucasians and others lookin foreigners walking ard tp =D and e gd news is…hmm i saw most of ‘em in TP Engine school!!! muhahahaha…oh hmm and i don think i seen any of the guys yet..IF u noe waat i mean…lol, yea oni seen the gals..hmm no angmoh guys?

Last friday, there was the TP career fair at the Auditorium. Well, I must say that it certainly was interesting to walk around and talk to the different companies about their jobs available. Some of the companies were giving out good freebies too. Well so my friends and I attended a few talks by the companies, before having to go for my NAPFA.

When I went to register for it, it had started to rain. So the guy said to wait for a while first. My partner and I then hung around there to watch a secondary school volleyball tournament. Probably the east zones.  Well the standard of the guys’ volleyball was okay while those of the girls seem a bit poor.

But anyway, after 2 hours the guy said that we could take the NAPFA if we wanted but it wouldn’t count as it was raining and we couldn’t run our 2.4km on the same day, but we could try out and see what award we’d get if we were to do the real thing.

So my partner and I went back to the Career Fair to walk around somemore. We went for the NUS admission talk. And after listening to it, decided that NUS was still the best choice for our further education. NTU seems full China and India students (just my observation), and according to my cousin, people who fail their GP but still got good results are able to enter that university.

But anyway, my final choice will be NUS as the degree of my choice is there.

haiz once again this years cny we cant really enjoy it. Last year our exams were slightly later than exams thus everyone was unhappy as ppl had to study thru the chinese new year. This year, its abit better, but cny is during the assignments and proj submision period so this time round i think ppl will be working thru their proj thru the cny. But the nxt year will be better as the exams as slowly moving forward and means further away from cny so that we can enjoy. I advise all to study starting from nw as periodic revision really helps alot instead of doing all revision at one shot, ur brain cant take it. Anyway, the exams time table is out n u guys can go n print ur personalized exam timetable out. GD luck

my boyfriend and i went mensa level 2 to had lunch during our lunch break yesterday. i order the chicken chop at salad bar, as usual. while he had doryfish with spring onion sauce. the doryfish is heavenly *we were too hungry, so we eat without any picture taken* anyway, i’m one who don’t like onion, but i’m loving it.  i can assure you that you will love this dish even if you detest onion to the core. go check it whenever you are free

mensa level one is still not open yet. renovation is still going on…

Today I was going to library to do research for my assignment on a computer. I managed to get a computer because I did make a prior booking before I go. While I was doing the research, I saw a student standing in front of another computer browsing the net. I was wondering why he was doing that because at first I  only managed to see the computer monitor as I was being blocked by another user.

I turned my head and I just realized that he didn’t have a chair to sit on. I can see this happening very commonly in the library because other student has taken the seat as he/she wants to share a monitor with his/her friend.

I left the station after him, and when I was walking towards the lift I saw a group of 4 students were sharing a monitor. They have grabbed all the other 3 chairs from other stations resulting in no more seats for those stations. They should realize their mistake or they may have realized it but they just didn’t care.

Oh mann.. how horrible.. i saw a cat dued outside. there’s the picture.. the eye came out. and its tongue sticking out. and i took a picture of it.. I guessed that it was being hit by something or had a fight.. so disgusting..

hmmm…. been wondering who maintane the computers at Eng Hall 1? Some of the computers are always unable to login… Geezzz~

Wonder what is the real purpose of Eng Hall 1 computer stations?

all of us will sure have a TP engine sch organizer that is given to us every year. But the thing is, do we all use it?…from what i see, alot ppl dun use it at all and jus chuck it away after receiving it…but some do use it too great extent. One example is club leaders. They use the student organizers to plan event on days that are available for themselves and more importantly for the participant(students of engine sch). The fact is that the handbook seriously has alot of information such as lecturers contact and location but i dun think its really well organized as sometimes i cant find the lecteres contact i want. So should the organizers be still given out yearly or should they do something bout it?…haha

This morning came to school, 1st lesson at TCC level 2, noticed why all dark dark! hahaha~ lucky only corridoor. So tot only here blackout, later at block 17, also blackout~ LOL both corridoors no lights, tot blackout! OMG! lol~ hahaa~ at first i tot no lesson or somthing~ then saw abit of glow from the class room! hahaha!

Dunno wat happen but Some parts of the school, the lights are not function~ LOL! Think never pay PUB la! hahaha jkjk!
