LTT Aerosapce Training Centre in Temasek Poly
The LTT Aerospace Training Centre at Temasek Polytechnic was officially opened on 27 March 2008.
This Centre is a joint venture between Temasek Poly and Lufthansa Technical Training (Germany) and Aerospace students in TP will have privileged access to equipment and instructors from Lufthansa Germany.
Aerospace students in TP, did u know that you can get direct credits leading to exemption from certain Aircraft Maintenance Licence (AML) modules later on?
Mr Ko Kheng Hwa, Managing Director, Singapore Economic Development Board, and Mr Folkmar Stoecker, Ambassador, Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, were the guests of honour at the opening ceremony of the LTT Aerospace Training Centre.

Really… what a day.
Posing can be rather tiring. ok… that was for those who experience doing carpark duties(maybe). Anyway i shouldn’t do the sawing… they make us do the same action many times for almost 20mins in front of the photographers and videographers(CNA)… cannot take it.
Anyway at a t-shirt for memory-sake is good enough although i think is cheap labour. Agggrh forgot the pics anyway im sure the school will have them in the magazines. … signing out to sleep….
Temasek Poly’s ROBO GRAND PRIX
Temasek Engineering School held its annual SINGAPORE ROBO GRAND PRIX competition at Funan DigitaLife Mall… (14–16 March 2008). It’s open to all students from sec schools, JCs, and ITEs.
……it’s a robotic car racing competition. (so those of u can’t wait for Singapore’s F1 racing to start,.. here’s an appetiser for you.. ha!)
Particpants race their self-designed robotic cars (called Robo-racers) on a given track to see who clocks the fastest lap time. Eh, the tracks not easy ok. They wind and turn like a snake…
best part is, the robots are autonomous - meaning no human intervention. it’s NOT remote controlled. The cars follow a white tap on the track using sensors.
Today was the first day. i was there to take photos of the event. Wa lau, damn lousy man! almost every particpant’s Robo-racer could not complete the course… they veer off course mid way thru…
i wanted to shoot a photos of the Robo-racer tearing down the track.. but alas, the car crashed before it reached where i was sitting… Damn sway man.
i was told that cos this is the first day. The Division 3 schools are running… standard not so high..
Final day (Sunday) will see the schools in the “Premier League” taking part… and that’s when the competition heats up. Standard v high. Speed also high. They race side by side to the finish line.

Career Fair
We went to take a peek at the career fair, coincidentally la..bcz we wanted a shelter frm the rain, since we were there might as well take a look..but we felt it wasn’t the right time yet, since were still freshies lol.But we had great fun squeezing through ppl to take phamplets collect booklets n of cz goodies.There was this booth i visited i asked them qns but tey weren’t able to answer me so….no comments…i guess tp shd orgainize career fairs like this in a more spacious environment cz it was very squeezy tht day…although the same place was used for JAE oso..
Hady Mirza
the concert was really cool.. it’s was really full of laughter..
there were mini games and competition and the contestants really made a lot of ppl roar out in laughter.. hady is actually quite a funny guy… he made the audience laugh a lot and he tried his best to intereact with the audience..
the crowd was just man… overwhelming!! the queue was very long and all of them were just so excited to see hady…
even children came to see him.. it was really a great day to spend your weekend..

Hady Mirza Concert-finally here!!
yay!!! the concert is finally here!!! kinda excited… i won’t be there to really watch though.. i’m on duty today..hehe…
but still.. i wonder how it will turn out later… kinda expecting to see quite a crowd.. don’t you think so? expecting media to be there and even fan clubs!! cool eh?!
haha.. i can’t wait to see how the turnout will be!!! whoots!!!

Career Fair
Today there was a career fair in Tp to the final year students. there were a lot of companies.A lot of students were there.I think there are alot of job vacancies in the jobmarket and the people who were from companies gave relavant informations regardings students questions.Futher education institutions also there ,like NUS,NTU,SIM etc.TP is doing this things every year and this is the espiciallty of TP.

we’ll be celebrating his victory in becoming the FIRST ever ASIAN IDOL and we’re also celebrating his birthday which was yesterday!!!
