Update on the petition

Remember the petition I blog previously?

It has been raised before, but nothing changed. And this has been debated in the other blog which i am one of the bloggers as well, and all of them agree about the cost that poly students have to pay as compared to JC and ITE students.

I don’t travel. But hey, obviously it is a discrimination to label poly as tertiary, when most of us are fresh out of O-level. And to charge the prices for poly students in ridiculously too high as compared to JC students.

I have three siblings. What happen if all of us apply for bus concession as we happen to study in a polytechnic far from our home?

$52 x 4 = $208. That’s $208 that my parents has to pay for a month. And it is an extra finiancial strain for family with low or average income.

Come to think of it, what about students studying full time in private insitutions in singapore?

Has anyone thought of them?

Anyway, one of them who started the petition has updated us.

Here’s the update on the petition:
