time really fly.. hai~~ goin back to sch tml, with my new term start.. soo sianz.. haha..
donno wat we will do tml in the lesson time.. with sch start at 8am till 6pm.. n yet we all haven got our books, notes and etc.. can you imagine the whole entire day is in the project lab.. hai~~ hope they will let us go back home earlier.. 
but lucky tt.. we juz need to go back to sch for 2 weeks.. n we will haf another 2 weeks of sch holiday.. haha.. cann wait for tt..

So she went to buy mosquito coil.
Then at first I dun like it. But she pester…so I agree.
Then I quite like the smell…

Take home found out, oh no! Wrong one..
Is for oily face…..mine is normal face I tink..or dry face.
I take to change…but shop closed already….
So I duno…….duno dry face use oily face facial wash will damage skin or no…I scare use will make skin dry dry….then ez get wrinkles…
Nvm…today wash face with water…tml ask other ppl….
En, I am lazy to write so much.
I realised that it might take ages to finish sharing my problems here.
Anyway the difference between normal major project AND challenging one.
my friend did a normal major project. Fuel Cell.
you have to build a DC-DC convertor motor.
Get schematic diagram from website. Get permission from supervisor. Buy components…and build..
Alot of things have been taught during 1.1-2.2 . So you can do the project smoothly. You even have time to play games as well.
After finishing the project. You can ask the supervisor the requirement to get an A. And then you work on it. Or else your grade would most likely be a B.
For my project, the challenging one. There is REALLY lots of thing not taught before and have to explore (research) @ the internet or the library.
Just that it took ages for me to list everything out. Read my previous post to get rough idea.
If you want to do challenging project. You MUST have Entusiatic members. 3 members so each of them could seperate the task evenly.
Eg. One research on suction cup.Which machine is required…which parts to buy..
The other design hardware……linear movement with motor….the dimension…the brass rod and bearing…etc…etc…..

I will be revising my work after my bath in a few minutes time. I will resume blogging tomorrow after School or during Break time if I’m free. I need to brush up on my other subjects besides Maths3 and MCT. How fast,is already Sunday evening!!! Tomorrow is already the 1st day of December and it’s Monday Blue too. And my lesson starts from 10am to 6pm,u can consider a long day with 1 hour of break in between.

So stress @ major project…no good progession…..6 weeks already still no progress….
I wished mine is normal major project….so ez….all learn b4…wun get stuck…Still got time play games!!!
So tough!Somemore supervisor not useful….need ownself do research!
Researh….which material to use…..design robot….how 2 design? Use plastic use aluminium…how I noe…
How to research….This is my first time do something so major…supervisor pls help more….dun give me research so much….

Finally, just get to finish one of my group report…
Actually this report was suppose to hand in last week… But got stuff need to add-on. So I decide to hand-in tomorrow. Hope my lecturer won’t be mad or cut our marks. Hahaha…
But I still got one more group report to do. And my artpiece… And most importantly, my revision on those subjects…
Too many stuff… Too little time… Today still so hot… Haiz…
Firstly, In order to get overcome the distance, it is best to use an adhesive (sticky) material to stick the robot onto the window from the top where distance is the shortest so that the robot could walk on the surface of the window.
Weight becomes an important factor in this case since we are using the windows to support the weight of the robot against gravitation pull.
Complexity is important. We are from electronics. Therefore our knowledge for the hardware and mechanical part is limited. So it is best to design a robot as simple as possible.
And the list of things to consider goes all the way down……..but I’ll try to list all of them here.
-Tensile strength (Strength of rope to support robot)
- Adhesion strengthl(Suction cup? Electromagnet? Vaan Der waals force?)
-Cost
-Complexity
-Robot movement and intelligence (Software programming. Labview? Pic18?)
-Choosing material
As you can see, most of the things that I’ve mentioned is not taught in lectures.(Or maybe just not taught on electronic course).
You have to do lots of research in order to get the robot to work.
For example, if you want to use suction cup, you have to know pneumatics(I heard it’s being taught in mechantronic course). You have to learn how to suck out the air to create negative pressure to stick on the window walls.

This afternoon,I spend about half the day(almost the whole afternoon) to do my MCT Report on Motor and 7 Segment Programming,makes some changes/amendment to it as tomorrow afternoon is my Peer-to-Peer teaching with my groupmates. And later after dinner,I have to photocopy 4 copies(1 for myself and the other 3 for my groupmates) 4 teaching notes 4 tomorrow.
Now it is already left with 1 week(5days) of my lessons.Sad 2 say this weekend(Sunday) will be gone soon in a few hours time. I’m preparing 4 my Term Test now,as the weightage sure is higher than our quiz. Yup,with a lot of practise,we can do it!!! At least we have 8 December which is Hari Raya Haji a extra day/public holiday to prepare our work.That’s Great!!!!

More recently, I am beginning to regret of my decision to choose a challenging project. Yeah, you get to explore new things, learn new stuffs that’s not taught in school and the condition to get an A is more specific.
Whereas in normal major project where you need to do exceptionally well to get an A, for challenging project you just need to make it work in order to get an A.
Yeah,sounds attractive.But it’s a live or die deal. So don’t get hooked on it. It’s hard to make it work. For my project, I have to build a cleaning machine that cleans the window of library. The slope window.
The conventional way of window cleaning is hang a gondola lift on top of a roof, get a man to sit on it. And than the lift would move down vertically while the man does the job.
Well, my project is robot cleaning machine.So no labour force is required. To make it worse, it is tilted. Therefore, as it gets lower, the distance between the robot and the window gets further.
Just like a right triangle.
There are many factors my group need to consider.
