The LTT Aerospace Training Centre at Temasek Polytechnic was officially opened on 27 March 2008.
This Centre is a joint venture between Temasek Poly and Lufthansa Technical Training (Germany) and Aerospace students in TP will have privileged access to equipment and instructors from Lufthansa Germany.
Aerospace students in TP, did u know that you can get direct credits leading to exemption from certain Aircraft Maintenance Licence (AML) modules later on?
Mr Ko Kheng Hwa, Managing Director, Singapore Economic Development Board, and Mr Folkmar Stoecker, Ambassador, Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, were the guests of honour at the opening ceremony of the LTT Aerospace Training Centre.

HOw much is the FEE? i am curious to know.. Is it worth while taking up the course? then graduate salary is little?
Comment by icywave 14 April, 2008 @ 8:52 pmFor all Aerospace modules taught by TP lecturers, it is free (FOC), because you are a student of TP, and you already pay school fees !!
But the “special” modules, taught by Lufthansa instructors from Germany — you have to pay a nominal fee.
Outside, such equivalent training for a standard 25-day package costs about $5,000. TP students will pay $250. (effectively a 95% discount to makret rate). Plus TP students get the added benefit of being trained by experts from Lufthansa.
Whether you get higher salary next time, just because you were trained by Lufthansa experts…. this we can’t tell. It depends on your future boss.
But what we can confirm is that, if you pass those modules, you can get direct credits and exemption when you take the professional AML course outside later on. Hence, with this exemption, you can get your AML up to 3–6 months faster.
For more information, please contact your Aerospace lecturer at TP.
