i’m sure most of you all should have heard about the news that the dragonboat team in cambodia which represent Singapore right?
they are a group of 22 people who went there for competition. while they were rowing back to the starting line of the 1.5km race… a sudden wave caused their boat to overturn. and what worse is they did not wear any life jackets which i thought they should be wearing?
so out of these 22 people five of them were missing but later found dead too.i’m sure their parents and friends is super sad. i feel sad too although i dont know anyone of them.. i cant imagine they are so fit and fine at a moment and the next moment they were drowned. if they are my relatives or friends i think i cant accept this fact too. and i cant imagine how those people who are drowned feel? they must be struggling and hoping that they will be saved.
anyway, out of the 22 people one of them is my brother’s friend who i seen him once before. after hearing about this incident my brother immediately called to cambodia and ask if he is alright.and luckily he was saved. he mention that somebody was pulling him up. but 2 of his friends were drowned. and they will be back on monday.
looking through those people friendster make us feel sad too. cos they are still so young at their 20s to 30s… and they look so active. but now they are not in this world.
hope that they will rest in peace.
so please treasure eveyone beside you, u dont know when the will leave you too.
