More that 250 staff and volunteers took part in a fire drill yesterday as part of trials to prepare for the opening of Changi Airport’s Terminal 3 on Jan 9. It simulated a fire starting in a restaurant’s kitchen, leading to smoke engulfing the premises.

Do you that the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) has carried out more than 50 trials involving over 5,000 staff and volunteers just to ensure minimal glitches on the opening day? Wow right and i think it’s good to be kiasu this way if not the Changi won’t be voted the best airport for 20 straight years by passengers who read Britain’s Business Traveller magazine and won over 250 awards over the years.

Let’s hope Changi airport will continue to work on their best!
