And once again, MediaCorp presents the President’s Star Charity 2007!

The theme this year is Musicals, with viewers being treated to to a kaleidoscope of colours, songs and emotions with excerpts from well-known local and foreign musicals. It was a passionate song and dance affair, delivered with utmost enthusiasm, all in the name of charity.

The musicals showcased spanned from different eras and included various genres that sent us tumbling back in time to the wild hair, bell-bottoms and hairspray era. Audiences enjoyed performances from the hip 50s Grease, to the zealous renditions of 60s’ Sweet Charity and Beauty World, even to the infectious disco music from the 70s Saturday Night Fever. 

Children were not left out – Disney Channel’s hit show, High School Musical, entertained the young ones. Various interests were not forgotten, with excerpts from Bollywood film Kal Ho Naa Ho, and wayang kulit performance by Puteri Gunung Ledang. Romance was also in the air, thanks to the very popular Chinese musical, Snow.Wolf.Lake – a performance that is a class of its own.

One of Singapore’s earliest musicals, Fried Rice Paradise, was also showcased. Renowned local personalities like Mrs Elizabeth Sam and Dato’ Dr Jannie Tay performed a waltz to music from My Fair Lady and The Sound of Music.

A total of $5 million odd was raised during the telecast, with the president even contributing by reciting a poem. Glenda Chong was stunning throughout the night and Dr Woffles Wu was a stud in his 70’s retro outfit.

It was an early celebration for the birthday girl (ruby – Diploma in marketing in TP) *advertising hahaah… at marina south. but everyone is not eating much lah. Shuck! I miss the early meeting for movies with the rest lah, but the cutting cake section im still there.

Pretending im the birthday boy, especially those pictures… people really thought is my birthday lah. Hahaha. And ruby’s driving skill almost gets everyone killed on the expressway lah… like im still too young to die arghhh!!!!

Realizing that, after graduating from high school, birthday(s) are a good occasion to get everyone gathers together once again. A few times a year, really keep the bond there= )

Oops. I realized that photos cant be upload, cause the candles tell her age… she’s gonna flood me with tears… if I disclose that in public haha. an still…

Cheer for the friendship to my friend… happy birthday = )*not disclosing her age. hahaha.

yahOoOoo!! so long nv blog liaoz..haas..firstly lazy, secondly lazy, thirdly also lazy laa…haas..aniway..i think gt lotsa to recap..let me think…

hmm…have been working for the past 1 mth le..haas..yea..and i am goin to end work real soon la..haas.in 2 more wks..yea..work end liaoz..then i am goin to rest and then..sch starts!! haas…dunnoe goin to change class anot la..haas..but my class is fun..so yeaa..well..hopefully nt lo..*praying real hard*. Aniway..work is shitty..kanna “niao” for reasons by the “top” ppl..kaoz.. say i also angry ah…hmmm…wan ua back to work… do until wan to drop dead liaoz stil “niao” us for no reasons..*angry* ah..so nvm..tolerate 2 more wks..and yessa.. NO MORE!

hmm..went zoo on fri, sorta “class gathering” la..haas… yess…oh my god..it was fun to the max la..haas…play like whole day la..it was tiring but fun..esp with my darlings..haas..had lotsa crap and fun..hmm..left zoo ard 6 plus..took bus back to AMK(xiao xin took cab back hm 1st..he already “deaded” while we are at zoo..haas), bring my darling home, then wait for another darling to pom pom finish then we head to bishan to have my ALL TIME FAV CHICKEN RICE!! YUM!!
hAas…we are all so hungry laa…we order 1 whole chicken and a plate of intestine..haas..yum yum..it was damn filling la…haas..we all eat until cannot walk liaoz…haas..after that we went J8 to walk walk..haas..then we all took tired liaoz..i bought some desert hm for my parents then we all headed back hm!

sat, went for cemta as usual~ lesson start early this wk..haas..learn new song…gt performances coming up..so gt to lear new song..haas..its goin to be a grp singing la..so yea~ aniway..after lesson went down to tow area to have dinner, meet up with the others and continue to rot at orchard… =) too tired liaoz..so go back ard 11 plus.. =)

Finally today starts the final 100 days countdown to the operations of the newly Terminal 3 @ Changi Airport

Well i must say its a whole new experience as its totally different frm the other two terminals …

For those who wanna have a 1st feel of the terminal be4 the open house, u cn try to go to terminal 1 row 1 & 2 … …

i believe there is the start of the whole new experience …

I just received a email from Singapore Expo as I subscribe for their newsletter.. there will be a Sitex 2007 at Hall 5&6 from 29-11-07 to 02-12-07

i also received a sony newsletter.. they have the new psp slimmer as before & it’s  coming soon ..  the model is PSP-2000 & a new range of mp3 players are launched also, the model is Walkman NWZ-S610F, it has FM tuner and the functions of the normal walkman..

New bum rests were installed in seven high-traffic MRT stations in March to provide more respite for footsore commuters, many did not find themselves resting comfortably. I have seen some people who have to tip-top to reach the 70.5cm-tall rests… and even they made it up, they will slide down from the sloped, stainless-steel seats… I think even if you are tall enough to sit comfortably on the bum rest, you still have to dig your heel in to prevent yourself from sliding off…

I went play basketball with my friends, then it like a bad day for me lol… First the ball hit my head… ok nevermind carry on. Then i got a cut at my arm from someone fingernail… ok nevermind again so i went to wash the wound and carry on playing… Then worst… i injuried my thumb… ahh! forget it i out. Think its abit swollen now hope it will recover soon…
