- U.S. and U.K. ISP’s are blocked.
- Everyone knows it’s as of no reason… or is there?
- Everyone demands a refund
Rumors:
- Asiasoft loves money
- Asiasoft hates Americans and British
- Asiasoft takes money from their locales.
See here in this forum topic: http://forums.playpark.net/showthread.php?t=1018?
Over a thousand replies complain about this. They demand a refund for the A-Cash, the premium item cash payment method. Asiasoft says nothing and do nothing. Canadian and U.S. residents especially complain their money usage on the game and should it continue? No.
Users also work hard on training their character. All the hours of hard work put to their dedicated character and being blocked from using it seems irrational.
MapleStory is subscribed by millions of users in the world. It’s a Free to play MMORPG game. MapleSEA is for South-East Asians and international as they like. Now, their definition of international is “No American/European IP’s”. Unfortunately, this makes hours of play a waste.
A petition at PetitionOnline, given in this link, show over 500 users signing against “Discrimination by blocking IP’s”. Seeing so, users hope to have this problem resolved. Doubted by other masses, this is one of their only hope besides arguing.
Yet, local distributors Nexon America and Nexon Europe are pointed to be the fault. Who is it to blame? What is the final verdict?
